In the area of Decision-Making and Systems Design, Operations and Management, the main research activities concerns are: Decision Aiding and MCDA Methods; Logistics and Supply Chain Management; Systems Modelling and Optimization.

Experience in related research projects:

Coordination of 3 international projects:

• LNG_PT – Fast tracking the deployment of a European low carbon transport system: the Portuguese Roadmap for LNG in TEN‐Tcorridors.
• DOROTHY – Development of regional cluster for research and implementation of environmental friendly urban logistics.

Participation in 1 international projects:

• DAISY – Impact analysis and cost benefit analysis of countermeasures on airport infrastructure.
